Putah Creek is the area’s premier wild trout fishery located just 45 minutes from the Napa Valley. Its cold, clear water flows from the bottom of Monticello Dam feeding roughly 4 miles of fishable water. The wild trout range from 12” to around 20”. This trip is available as a full and half-day walk and wade. Although Putah is a year-round fishery, we begin fishing/guiding the creek on March 1st and end November 30th due to the trout spawn.
Full day: $450, Half Day: $350
The Lower Yuba River is a year round fishery and one of Northern California’s fly fishing gems. We are able to dry fly fish, nymph under an indicator and streamer fish. The Lower Yuba River has it all! This trip is available as a full-day drift boat trip starting at the Highway 20 Bridge and ending at Sycamore Ranch. The Lower Yuba is home to wild trout and fall/winter steelhead.
Full day: $550
The Lower Sacramento River, also known as The Trout Factory, is an amazing year round wild trout fishery located in Northern California’s Redding area. The Lower Sac is one of the most productive wild trout rivers in the whole state. It isn’t uncommon to catch 18” fish and have double digit days on this river. This trip is available as a full-day drift boat trip. We put the boat in at the Posse Ground Boat Ramp right above the Sundial Bridge and take out either at Bonnyview Boat Ramp or Anderson River Park Boat Ramp.
