Lake Berryessa Fishing Report
The lake is improving week by week. As the water gets warmer, the bass will start moving up into shallower water and begin spawning. We are still dealing with stained water in some portions of the lake. In these portions, throw moving baits such as LV-500s, Chatterbaits, and underpins. If you find clear water switch to finesse-style baits. A drop shot or a wacky rigged Senko will produce good results.
We fished the North and East side of the lake last week and had success. I wasn't able to fish the south side yet but I'm sure they are biting on similar techniques.
