Improved Keitech Inventory

Keitech swimbaits are an excellent bait for striper, largemouth, crappie and more!

We have a variety of colors and sizes to choose from so come down and check them out!

Improved Crappie Section

The Crappie fishing has been on fire for the last couple of months. We received many requests from our customers to carry more Crappie gear and as a result, we have dedicated an entire end cap to it.

We also stock live minnows by the thousands and get deliveries twice a week.

New Pre-Assembled A-Rigs

A-Rigs or Alabama Rigs are a very effective bass fishing technique. Designed to resemble a school of bait fish with 3 hooks on the bottom swimbaits and two “teaser” swimbaits on the top.

We have taken the hassle out of assembling these A-rigs with a fully ready-to-fish set-up. Currently, we have two models at two different price ranges.

  1. Moody’s Angler King A-Rig $49.99

  2. Moody’s Yumbrella A-Rig $34.99

Did you know we have an eBay store?

You can find all kinds of bargains and there are no shipping fees for local pickup. Check it out: https://www.ebay.com/usr/sweeneyssports

Fishing Report

Lake Berryessa is starting to fish well. We have reports of anglers catching 6-9 pound king salmon outside of Spanish Flat, either mooching or trolling a herring using a double-snelled hook setup. Make sure your bait is twisting in the water for the best presentation. The salmon can be found in 35-50 feet of water right now.

If you have kokanee fever and are willing to travel, head over to Stampede Reservoir, Bullards Bar, or Lake New Melonis. Boats are limiting out daily with both species on a strong bite. We are also starting to see kokanee hookups at Lake Berryessa. If you don't want to drive too far, you may do well trolling J&J dodgers paired up with Paulina Peak flutter bugs or hoochies, tipped with shoepeg corn. Make sure to marinate in tuna oil the night before.

Halibut and striper action is on fire in the Bay. Boats are limiting out daily with both species. I am thinking the stripers will soon start pushing into the Napa River in numbers. I'll check that theory on Friday and will provide a detailed report of what we'll find.

Crappie bite is on fire in Lake Hennessy and you can find them in Berryessa in the shallows or next to structure. Put a medium minnow under a bobber, or use crappie jigs.

For a detailed report, check out Alan Fong Oudoors video: https://youtu.be/FtoSRKMgx7M

We have everything you need to make your fishing trip more fun. Stop by the shop for the bait, gear, and latest intel before your next trip.
