Service Description
This class is designed for anyone who is interested in learning the basics of fly fishing. No experience is necessary. Topics Covered -The different types of fly rods and reels -How to choose the right fly line -The basics of fly casting -How to present a fly to a fish -Hands-on Practice Students will have plenty of opportunities to practice their casting skills in a safe and controlled environment. Prerequisites All equipment for use in class will be provided and no additional charge. If you have a rod and reel that you would like to learn about you are welcome to bring it. Sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen are recommended. The first part of the class will be hosted inside Sweeney's Sports. For the second part, students will practice casting in the parking lot.
